  • The Royal Experience is an exclusive, immersive offering that grants four or more hours of private access to every floor of Stonewood Castle and its romantic, storybook grounds—creating a truly unforgettable setting for your wedding or vow-renewal ceremony.

    The bride is invited to prepare in the Castle’s Royal En Suite, a refined and tranquil retreat, while two additional private suites are reserved for bridesmaids and attendants to gather, toast, and ready themselves in elegance.

    For those wishing to extend the magic, overnight accommodations may be arranged for an additional fee, with Stonewood Castle graciously accommodating up to six guests for an intimate overnight stay.

    Rental time thoughtfully includes both set-up and breakdown, allowing your celebration to unfold with ease, grace, and uninterrupted enchantment. The Royal Experience is available Afternoon, Evening and Full Day options.

    Prices start at $3690.00, based on attendance of 1-15 people and inclusive of hourly rate/ cleaning fees. 16-25 person parties $4390.00 (2 hours)

  • The Evening At the Castle offers four or more hours of private access to select, beautifully appointed spaces within Stonewood Castle—including the stately Library, the Dining Room, and Kitchen level—along with exclusive use of the castle grounds.

    Designed for intimate celebrations and unforgettable gatherings, this experience is ideal for refined birthday celebrations, recitals, bridal or baby showers, and immersive evenings such as murder-mystery affairs, where the castle itself becomes part of the story.

    For those wishing to linger beyond the final toast, overnight accommodations may be arranged for an additional fee, with Stonewood Castle comfortably sleeping up to six guests.

    All rental times are inclusive of event set-up and breakdown, allowing your evening to unfold effortlessly in an atmosphere of warmth, elegance, and timeless intrigue. Evenings at the Castle available any time between 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm with a four hour minimum.

  • Stonewood Castle Afternoons offers a two-hour private experience within the storied walls of Stonewood Castle. Guests are invited to enjoy access to the stately Library, the Dining Room and Kitchen level, as well as the surrounding castle grounds—perfectly suited for intimate daytime affairs.

    This gathering is ideal for birthday celebrations, recitals, bridal or baby showers, and other meaningful moments best enjoyed in a setting that feels both elevated and welcoming.

    All rental times are inclusive of set-up and breakdown, allowing your afternoon to unfold with ease, beauty, and unhurried grace. Stonewood Castle Afternoons available any time between 11:00 am – 3:00 pm with a two-hour minimum and four-hour max.

    Prices start at $1290.00, based on attendance of 1-15 people and inclusive of hourly rate/ cleaning fees. 16-25 person parties $2070.00 (2 hours)

Castle Policies

Stonewood Castle’s policies are updated periodically. The most current policies provided at the time of booking shall govern all use of premises. Stonewood Castle is a private furnished estate, not a commercial banquet venue. All bookings are priced based on use of the property as curated and staged, with minimal furniture adjustments.

  • A Stonewood Castle staff member must be on site at all times during gatherings.

  • Our capacity is the absolute upper limit of the space allowing for an intimate style gathering. Stonewood is not designed for large-format gatherings. Guest counts near the maximum require increased supervision and strict adherence to house rules.

  • Clients must choose from our approved caterers list at stonewoodcastle.com/caterers. No Red Wine allowed in the castle. No outside food/vendors permitted.

    All policies due no later than thirty (30) days prior to the date of use. If Renter fails to furnish certificates as above 30 days prior, the rental shall become void and the Reservation Deposit will not be refunded but retained by Stonewood Castle. In addition, if requested by Stonewood Castle, Renter shall furnish certificates of insurance evidencing appropriate insurance coverage by any florist, rental equipment agency, valet parking and musical entertainment providers hired by Renter. Proof of insurance will come through EVENT HELPER once completed.

  • No smoking in the building. Stonewood Castle is a non-smoking building. No candles are permitted in the castle. Cigarettes can be used in outdoor spaces.

  • Item deNo grace periods before or after established booking time. Entry onto property prior to scheduled start time for staging, early drop-offs and storage of items is not allowed. Early arrival by guest/vendor constitutes beginning of booking and will be billed accordingly. Billed time will include entire duration the guest or any member of party on property. Booking end time includes all breakdown, load-out and departure from property. Booking time applies to all interior/exterior areas and parking areas. Clients are responsible for tracking/managing booking time including vendor compliance.scription

  • Overage time is billed at $250 per 30-minute increment. Bookings may only be extended with the mutual approval of client and property host. Property hosts may provide a courtesy 30-minute warning and inquiry to extend. If a guest remains on property five minutes past end time, a full 30-minute increment will be charged. For 3rd party bookings, extension requests must be documented via platform message to ensure a written record and payment. Overages begin immediately upon the scheduled end of the booking and billed to the payment method on file and due immediately upon invoicing. Late arrival by client does NOT constitute a change of time to Stonewood Castle. Property host timekeeping is the official time standard. Host determination of overage is final. Guests who refuse to vacate at the end of their booking may be considered trespassers and be subject to removal.

  • Cleaning Fee of $100 applied to rentals under 2 hours and $250 for rentals over 2 hours. Guests are expected to respectfully tidy up and leave space how found, remove any equipment/decor and factor setup/teardown time in booking hours. Renter responsible for all damages to the venue, decor, antiques, instruments, fixtures, or grounds caused by renter/vendors. Prohibited materials include glitter, confetti, rice, balloons (release) and birdseed. Use of any such materials incurs an additional $350 cleaning fee. No nails, screws, staples, tacks, tape or other penetrating items of any kind can be used on walls in decorating the mansion. Damages (walls, floors, furniture, etc) billed from security deposit.

    Stonewood Castle houses valuables throughout (antiques, artwork, instruments) that require great care when renting. We are NOT a child-friendly venue and require info on any children under twelve attending gatherings including arrangements made for their care.

  • Decorations may include centerpieces, free standing arrangements and trees as well as battery operated candles, flowers and frames on mantles. Staircase may be decorated by affixing garland. Renter is responsible for the removal of all personal items at the end of the gathering. Seasonal decorations, furniture or property of Stonewood Castle shall not be removed or disturbed by the Renter. Stonewood Castle permits the use of real rose petals, bubbles and sparklers upon the departure of the bride and groom.

  • Parking at the Castle is limited. Renters will be provided one spot behind the castle. There is a second spot for drop-offs and unloading ONLY in the driveway. This spot must remain open at all times for shuttle pick-up/ drop-offs.  NO STEPS ACCESS is available via drop off in front of the castle on Rydal Road and allows access to the Library floor only. There is a bathroom available on this floor. This is a drop off point only. No parking on Rydal Road.

    Parties under 15, Please direct your guests to carpool and park in the neighborhood on Doral Road, across from the back of the castle.

    Parties 16-25….ALL GUESTS should be dropped off in our driveway behind the castle. Drivers will then proceed to our off-site parking lot and be shuttled back to the castle.

  • Stonewood Castle can provide, upon request, a limited supply of banquet chairs/ tables for modest event use. Stonewood Castle does not permit removal of castle furnishings or additions of unapproved outside large scale rental deliveries of “Banquet-style” tables, seating or installations. Exceptions may be granted for small cocktail tables, with advanced written approval.

  • CLIENT must provide names/contact info of all service/3rd party personnel working event and guarantee all event insurance compliance 30 days prior to event.

     

  • In the event of snow, client may be offered to reschedule or asked to sign additional ice/snow addendum if they proceed during inclement weather.

  • The Living Room can have additional seats added or furnishings moved to perimeter. No other set-up allowed. The dining table seats up to eight (8) SEATED guests and is intended for intimate gatherings only. The dining area can be reset for a party of 14 with an additional $150 fee. Unauthorized movement of furnishings is strictly prohibited. Furniture must be moved by Stonewood Castle representatives ONLY.

  • **Photographers/Videographers must use protective paper on floors.

  • We do NOT allow pets of any kind on property.

  • Stonewood Castle begins Christmas Decor installation Nov 1 and it is removed Jan 6th. Any dates between will enjoy the grandeur of Stonewood Christmas for their gatherings.
